Behind the Scenes FilmWatch
In honour of the 65th anniversary of the Clarks Desert Boot and our limited edition Made in England pack Inventory magazine visited the Northamptonshire factory where they are being made, and talked with some of the people who have been involved in the project about the Desert Boot’s long history and ongoing appeal.
Moulded on the same hand-carved wooden last (number 220) and made from the original Charles F. Stead Cordova Velour sand suede as the original 1950s boot, this definitive, Northampton-made version will be available from July 2015.
