CLARKS IN JAMAICA SOUNDTRACK COMPETITION

This policy sets out the basis on which any personal data we collect from you, or that you provide to us, will be processed by us when you register on our Clarks Originals Clarks in Jamaica Soundtrack competition (“the Competition”). Please read the following carefully to understand our views and practices regarding your personal data and how we will treat it. C & J Clark International Limited (Clarks) is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy.

THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT

When you resister on the Competition we will collect the following information: – Your name – Your email address – Mobile Telephone Number including worldwide area code.   The information we collect will only be used by Clarks and our partner social media agency for the purpose of your engagement with our Competition. It will not be supplied to any other third party without first obtaining your consent, unless we are obliged or permitted by law to disclose it. We may also use your personal data to aggregate anonymous information about individuals who have engaged with our Competion (for example, the number of people who have completed the Competition journey). We may retain this anonymous aggregate information to learn about how to make our future Clarks campaigns even more successful. Please note that our Competition engagement links through Facebook, a third party social networking service. Please note that Facebook has their own privacy policy and we do not accept any responsibility or liability for these policies or for any personal data that may be collected through this service, such as contact and location data. Please check the Facebook privacy policy before you submit any personal data through this service. Any personal data that you provide to us will not be used beyond the end of the Competion.

WHERE WE STORE YOUR PERSONAL DATA

The data that we collect from you may be transferred to, and stored at, a destination outside the European Economic Area (EEA).By submitting your personal data, you agree to this transfer, storing or processing. We will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this privacy policy. Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted through Facebook; any transmission is at your own risk. The information we collect will only be used by Clarks and our partner advertising agency for the purpose of your engagement with our Campaign. It will not be supplied to any other third party without first obtaining your consent, unless we are obliged or permitted by law to disclose it. We may also use your personal data to aggregate anonymous information about individuals who have engaged with our Campaign (for example, the number of people who have completed the Campaign journey). We may retain this anonymous aggregate information to learn about how to make our future Clarks campaigns even more successful. Please note that our Campaign engagement links through WhatsApp, a third party internet mobile messaging service. Please note that WhatsApp has their own privacy policy and we do not accept any responsibility or liability for these policies or for any personal data that may be collected through this service, such as contact and location data. Please check the WhatsApp privacy policy before you submit any personal data through this service. Any personal data that you provide to us will not be used beyond the end of the Campaign.
