We have made every effort to ensure that the products are fairly described, that the product information is correct, and that the colours of our products are displayed as accurately as possible. Competition rules
These competition rules shall be binding on you when entering any competition(s) operated by us, our sponsors or any company or website owned or controlled by us or our parent company from time to time.
In addition to these general competition rules, other specific terms and conditions may also apply to a particular competition. We will post any such specific competition rules on our website.

You must be over 18 years of age to enter our competitions.

Employees of Clarks and other group companies and any company associated to the specific competition and their families are not eligible to enter the competition. Anyone who has won a prize within the last six months on a Clarks or clarksoriginals.com valued at £150 or more shall not be eligible to enter the competition, nor shall any member of such person's family nor members of the same household (including, but not limited to, aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents etc).

Only one entry per person is permitted, unless otherwise stated. Automated entries will be invalidated, including multiple entries from the same IP or telephone number range.

Proof of making phone call, sending post/e-mail is not proof of our receipt of your entry. No responsibility can be accepted for entries that are lost, delayed or damaged.

The closing date is as specified in the relevant competition. This will always be a time and date in the UK. Where a time is not given, the closing time will be 11.59pm (UK time) on the relevant day.

In the case of a prize draw, the first correct entry drawn will be the winner.

Winners will be formally notified (by email or post) within 21 days of the closing date. Full details of the prize will be given in email upon notification. Where we notify a winner by email, we will ask for confirmation of receipt by reply email.

In the case of prizes in the form of free tickets, we will contact the prize winner by email and prize details shall be as printed on the tickets. Ticket holders shall be bound by the event promoter's terms and conditions together with those set out on the ticket and the rules and regulations of the venue.

The judge's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

The prize may not be transferred to any other person.

No cash alternative or alternative prize is available on entrants' request but in the event of the advertised competition prize being unavailable we reserve the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value.

Clarks will not be liable for any damage, loss or disappointment suffered by any person taking part or not being able to take part in a competition.

Competition winners may be required to take part in or co-operate with publicity.

Competition winners agree to keep confidential any knowledge about Clarks and its business and personnel received by them as a result of the competition.

No responsibility is accepted for inaccurate prize details supplied by sponsors.

Use of false name or address, e.g. name, by which the entrant is not usually known, will disqualify them from receiving any prize. Clarks reserves the right to oblige any potential winner to provide documentary proof of their identity and address as directed by Clarks before such person may claim their prize. In certain circumstances, Clarks shall, at its discretion, require any person to present themselves in person supported by such documentation for identification purposes (we will reimburse all reasonable travel costs incurred) prior to releasing the prize.

Contestants who are rude, abusive or deemed otherwise unsuitable by Clarks will be excluded from the competition.

We reserve the right to amend these rules at any time. Entry in the competition implies acceptance of these rules.

We will keep your personal details for a reasonable time so that we can send you any prize that you have won, to verify that these rules have been complied with, and for accounting purposes. We may pass your details on to our service providers and agents for the purposes of sending you the prize on our behalf.

Clarks may at any time issue specific rules to be read in conjunction with these rules. In the event of a conflict between two sets of rules, the competition-specific rules take priority.

These rules are governed by English law.
Terms and Conditions for Record Store Day/Best Coast Online Competition
1. These competition rules shall be binding on you when entering any competition(s) operated by us, our sponsors or any company or website owned or controlled by us or our parent company from time to time.
2. In addition to these general competition rules, other specific terms and conditions may also apply to a particular competition. We will post any such specific competition rules on our website.
3. You must be over 18 years of age to enter our competitions.
4. This competition is for UK residents only, anyone from outside the UK who enters the competition will not be eligible to win one of the prizes.
5. The competition will run from 15th April – 6th May.
6. User is to visit the Clarks Originals website home page and 'Clarks Originals and Record Store Day 2013.' page where they are invited to input their details to enter the competition.
7. User to enter their details into a data-capture form and click “submit” or similar. Mandatory fields to be filled out are name and email along with ticked agreement to these Terms and Conditions. All data will be managed by Un.titled digital agency.
8. Once the mandatory fields have been completed and the form submitted, the user will then be sent an email from Clarks Originals confirming they have been successfully entered into the competition.
9. Closing time for the competition is 23.59 (UK time) on the 6th May. There will be a total of 10 winners picked at random.
10. Winners will be formally notified (by email or post) within 21 days of the closing date. Full details of the prize will be given in email upon notification. Where we notify a winner by email, we will ask for confirmation of receipt by reply email.
11. Each winner will receive the following prizes: Limited edition Clarks Originals x Best Coast 7’ vinyl, Clarks Originals & Best Coast poster, Clarks Originals and Record Store Day stickers Clarks Originals & Best Coast poster, ‘Clarks Originals proudly support Record Store Day’ badge.
12. The prizes may take up to 2 weeks to be delivered to the winner.
