DOOM delivers a remix of the Wallabee Boot

He’s worked with everyone from Thom Yorke, Ghostface Killah and Madlib to Danger Mouse and producer/rapper Jneiro Jarel. Last season he put his unmistakable stamp on a limited edition Wallabee shoe and now DOOM, the self-styled ‘super-villain’ of hip hop, is back collaborating with Clarks Originals on a Wallabee Boot like no other.  As recognisable and as individual as the man in the mask himself, DOOM’s remix of the iconic boot comes in royal blue with orange laces – combining the colours of his favourite New York sports team – and features a mask-themed lining and glow in the dark stitching.

For autumn winter 2014 Clarks Originals presents a new collection of Desert Boots for women.

Alongside perennial styles in classic colours there are new soft suedes and leathers and feminine, seasonal colours. Check out our animal print and Aubergine colourways along with the new collaboration with PATTERNITY that adds a twist on the classic Desert Boot using a striking monochrome print.

The Clarks Desert Boot is a shoe with provenance – first launched in 1950, it took its inspiration from a crepe-soled boot discovered in Cairo’s Old Bazaar that was the footwear of choice for off-duty Army officers. Now, as then, its simple lines are comfortable and effortless.

Patternity join Clarks Originals for a second season with a brand new take on the original Clarks Desert Boot.

For AW14, creative organisation PATTERNITY look at Originals through their specialist lens. Through the medium of film, the ‘cult pattern pioneers’ tell the unique story of the discovery of the Desert Boot – contrasting the old and the new, layering historical footage and narrative from Nathan Clark over PATTERNITY photography and moving image. Inspired by the past, present and future of Originals – PATTERNITY focus on pattern as the theme for inspiration and innovation – taking viewers on a powerful voyage of pattern discovery and exploration…

What’s more for the season, PATTERNITY continue the creative process through to the design of an Originals desert boot – available to buy both in stores and online.

Clarks Originals | Herschel Supply Co.


Clarks Originals have teamed up with Canada’s Herschel Supply Co. this autumn winter 2014.

Founded in 2009 by brothers Jamie and Lyndon Cormack, Herschel Supply Co. adopted the name of the small town where three generations of their family were raised. Herschel Supply Co. is based in Vancouver, Canada and manufactures the finest quality backpacks, bags, travel goods and accessories. Founders Jamie and Lyndon Cormack have said of the collaboration: ‘Clarks Originals is a brand that we have respected for a long time. Phenia Desert


The women’s style Phenia Desert returns in new colours and materials for a second season. A feminine take on the classic Clarks Originals Desert Boot with a little more slimline appeal than their classic cousins, these women’s boots feature the same simple lines that make the Desert Boot so enduring, and are created in premium tan leather. A lace fastening and signature Originals crepe sole finish the look.

Classic Wallabee


The classic returns. First launched in 1967 the Wallabee shoe is renowned the world over.

Whether made with premium suede or leather and finished with the Originals crepe sole, Wallabees are a perfect choice of shoe for both smart and casual occasions.

Our classic Desert Boot and Gloverall’s iconic Duffle coat were both founded over 60 years ago, and today continue to be proudly worn Worldwide.

Sharing our British iconic heritage, and with a timeless style that fits Clarks Originals, we collaborate for Autumn Winter 2013 to design the unique and recognisable Desert Duffle.

The uppers are constructed with a combination of thick, authentic Gloverall wool and our classic Steads suede with a functional toggle fastening to give the distinctive ‘duffle’ identity.

Owners, Steve and Nigel have listed Clarks Originals as one of their favourite brands, so it would only seem logical to team up with them to create a new version of one of our most iconic shoes.

They have delivered a new version of our classic Wallabee shoe, named the ‘Wallabee Ridge’ – inspired by the archive ‘Caravan’ shoe, part of a collection known as ‘Deep Country’. This shoe holds the same shape as a classic Wallabee Boot but boasts a thicker crepe sole and an upper made entirely of suede, making it exceptionally comfortable to walk in. The stitching around the outside of the shoe is what offers it its individuality, being somewhat different to the stitching on a Classic Wallabee. The creation by Oi Polloi is available in both Cola and Maple suede.
